Age Concern Hampshire was established over 25 years ago in 1985 to provide support and services to older people in Hampshire. Recently the Board of Trustees have taken the decision to remain as an independent charity.
About Us
Age Concern Hampshire is primarily an agent for change through awareness raising and campaigning, empowerment and support.It has four main areas of activity: awareness raising, campaigning and associated activity; information and advice; community services and products & services. These are run by dedicated staff and volunteers. We work closely with Hampshire County Council in many aspects of our work, together with other partners in the voluntary and statutory sectors.

Many of the services that Age Concern Hampshire provide are free of charge, such as the information and advice service, OPAL and computer centres. Others such as day care centres and footcare require a small charge to cover costs.
